Anaheim is a city located in Orange County, California. The city covers an area of 50.8 square miles and is the most populated city in Orange County.

Anaheim was founded in 1857 by 50 German families. It grew slowly and was incorporated in 1870 as the 2^nd city in Los Angeles County. Industries manufacturing aircraft parts and other electronic devices brought about rapid expansion of the city.

Before the advent of Disneyland, it was a small rural community of orange groves which were farmed by landowners in Anaheim. However, Disneyland opened its doors during the first half of the 20^th century and changed Anaheim forever.

Presently, it is the site of the world renowned Disneyland resort and also the home of Anaheim Convention Center, the largest convention center in the US West Coast. Major Corporations such as Hewlett Packard, Isuzu, Panasonic and AT&T have corporate offices in the city.

There are several notable people associated with Anaheim. Two of these people are golfer Tiger Woods and Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez.

Like many other cities in California, Anaheim hosts many weddings yearly.
