La Habra is a city located in Orange County, California with a population of approximately 60,000 residents.  La Habra is 7.4 square miles in area.  It is bordered to the north by La Habra Heights, to the east by Brea, to the south by Fullerton, to the west by La Mirada and East La Mirada, to the northwest by Whittier and to the southwest by Buena Park.

On January 20, 1925, La Habra was incorporated with a population of 3,000.  The Police Force was established in 1926 and by 1928 the city was considered the largest avocado center in Southern California.  

Richard Nixon opened his very first law office in La Habra.  However, the building was demolished in the 1990's to make way for the city's community center.  Although La Habra is within Orange County, it contracts with Los Angeles County for EMS and fire protection.
