Temecula is a city located in Riverside County, California. This city covers area of about 30.1 square miles, and it is equidistant to Orange County, San Diego and Los Angeles. Temecula borders Murrieta to the Northwest, Aguanga to the East and North San Diego County to the South. The city was incorporated in 1989.

The first Spanish people visited the area in 1797. However, it started opening up and growing after the Stagecoach Company started a local route from Warner ranch to Colton in 1857. People moved there because of the affordable housing, but the popular wine country also attracted people.
