Redlands is a city that is located in San Bernardino County, California with a growing population of roughly 69,000 residents.  It is 36.4 square miles in size and is located 10 miles to the east of downtown San Bernardino.

It is reported that the first settler in the area that is now Redlands put up a hut at the corner of what is now known as Cajon St. and Cypress Avenue.  The settler was a sheep herder and the year was 1865.

Redlands has been visited by three United States Presidents - William McKinley in 1901, Theodore Roosevelt visited in 1903 and William Howard Taftin was in the city in 1909.
