The county is served by Cobb Community Transit (CCT), the Georgia Northeastern Railroad spur line just north of Marietta, CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern Rail, and the Cobb County Airport at McCollum Field, so you and your wedding guests will be able to easily navigate the area.
Throughout Cobb County, you will find a wide range of wedding venues, from banquet halls and reception centers, to country clubs and luxury hotels, to historic sites, so you will be able to plan a unique affair.
Some popular venues in Cobb County include the Brookstone Golf and Country Club in Acworth, Barrett Hall in Marietta, the Sullivan House in Powder Springs, and the Olde Town Athletic Club.
Marietta is not just the county seat and largest city in Cobb Country, it is also centrally located, so no matter where you are in the county, it is a great place to spend a day shopping for wedding day necessities such as toasting flutes, wedding invitations and place cards, and wedding favors.
Popular shopping venues include Marietta Square, which features several upscale boutiques and gift shops, The Avenue West Cobb, Town Center Mall in Kennesaw, Cumberland Mall, and The Avenue East Cobb.
Cobb County is just minutes from all major Atlanta attractions, but it still has plenty of attractions of its own for you to enjoy during your free time, including Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, which is also a popular location for engagement and wedding photographs, Lake Acworth and Acworth Beach, the Marietta Museum of History, Silver Comet Trail, and Six Flags Whitewater in Marietta.
