The city of Jeffersontown is just 11 miles east of Louisville, Kentucky, and we found some great resources to help you with the wedding planning process.

Jeffersontown has some very affordable wedding venues, including its Community Center, the pavilion at Veterans Memorial Park (April through September), and the gym at David L. Armstrong Recreation Center.

Julian Chapel & Inn is one of Jeffersontown's more elegant wedding venues. The chapel has plenty of natural light, which makes for beautiful wedding photographs. It also features beautifully manicured lawns, onsite parking, and private changing areas.

Jeffersontown Tam's Florist can put the finishing touches on your wedding day decorations with custom bridal bouquets, floral wedding cake decorations, and reception centerpieces, while Adam Matthews can treat your guests to Kentucky Woods Bourbon Barrel Cake.

Jeffersontown has several neighborhood parks where you can relax during your free time, including Auburn Park, which features picnic areas and grills, and Skyview Park, which features softball and baseball fields.

You can also visit Jeffersontown Historical Museum, which features a new exhibit every few months, or attend The Gaslight Festival in September.

If you want to explore outside Jeffersontown city lines, you are in close proximity to both the Thomas Edison House and Farmington Historic Home.
