Make sure you check out Golden Valley Golf and Country Club, which is one of the possible wedding venues in Golden Valley. Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine voted it the "Best Banquet & Conference Facility in Minnesota".

You can take advantage of the gourmet catering services, bridal suite, and outdoor veranda. In your free time you can go golfing, play tennis, or swim in the seasonal swimming pool. 

Golden Valley is a family-oriented city and maintains 50 miles of trails, basketball and volleyball courts, soccer fields, nature areas, and hosts numerous year-round community events such as the Bike Rodeo, Concerts in the Park, the Toys for Tots Drive, and the Step To It Challenge. 

If you are hosting a casual bridal shower or rehearsal dinner, try renting the covered picnic shelter in Brookview Park through the Brookview Community Center. 

The Rice Lake Nature Center on Bassett Creek Drive features a scenic pond overlook and a walking bridge, which are both great backdrops for your wedding and engagement photographs.
