The city of Vadnais Heights is a thriving suburban community located just seven miles north of St. Paul, so you have easy access to its major shopping centers, amenities, and attractions.

However, Vadnais Heights has some excellent resources of its own to help you with the wedding planning process, including the local Walmart, which carries a large selection of affordable wedding supplies, from toasting flutes and bubbles, to place cards and wedding invitations.

Vadnais Heights Commons, a spectacular banquet facility and one of the city's most popular wedding venues, features 28-foot ceilings and expansive windows, providing plenty of natural light for wedding photographs.

The banquet center also features a grand stone fireplace, French doors that open to an outside courtyard, and over 10,000 square feet of space.

Jimmy's Conference and Catering, which offers a wide range of catering services, is another wedding venue sure to please, as it has an outdoor garden and gazebo ceremony site, plenty of free parking, and is conveniently adjoined to a hotel.

Vadnais Heights has over 100 acres of active parkland, including Morningside Park, Lily Pond Park, and part of Vadnais-Sucker Lake Regional Park, which offers opportunities for hiking and on-shore fishing. You can also attend of the city's annual events, such as Taste of Vadnais.
