If you are on a tight budget for your wedding, consider having a civil ceremony at the St. Louis County Courts Building on any Wednesday. You can pick up your marriage license for a $48 dollar fee payable in cash at the building just across the street the day of your ceremony.

Clayton is within 15 minutes of major attractions such as the Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, the Saint Louis Zoo, and the Missouri Botanical Garden.

If you stay local, Clayton has a great nightlife with a variety of wine and karaoke bars that you and your wedding guests can enjoy. The city also features public art by renowned artists, including Renoir, Milles, Ben Tre, and Botero.
