University City which is located in St. Louis County, Missouri is one of the oldest suburbs in the St. Louis area.  While the city is small in area at only 5.9 square miles, you can still find quite a few of the resources you will need to get started with your wedding planning process.  Of course, with its close proximity to St. Louis, anything you cannot find within the city limits can surely be found in St. Louis.  

One great, inexpensive venue to host you wedding is the Heman Park Community Center.  The prices are very reasonable and they even have kitchen facilities.  The center can also provide tables and chairs for your event.  Be sure to book the center early on in your planning process as they do require at least a 30 day advance reservation.  

Three Kings Pub is one of the local restaurants located within the Delmar Loop.  They, of course, have in house dining, but they offer banquet services as well.
