The borough of Yeadon is a family-oriented community conveniently located just four miles west of Philadelphia, so you and your wedding guests will be in close proximity to major attractions, hotels, and Philadelphia International Airport.

However, Yeadon has some great resources of its own to help you plan the wedding of your dreams, including affordable wedding venues like Yeadon Borough Hall, which features a full kitchen and can accommodate up to 375 guests.

Pound Cake Heaven, a family-owned and operated bakery, is the place to go for custom cookie wedding favors and pound cake wedding cakes made from scratch.

Finally, Foreacres Florist can make elegant ceremony arrangements, reception centerpieces, and bridal bouquets made with seasonal wedding flowers.

Yeadon is home to Community Park, which features a walking and biking trail, a fitness area, basketball courts, a playground, soccer fields, and picnic tables.

At one point, the founder of Flag Day, William T. Kerr, lived in Yeadon, and the community still hosts numerous annual events to celebrate the holiday, including live concerts, fireworks, a bike decorating contest and car show, and a basketball tournament.

The borough is also near some major historic sites, such as the Caleb Pusey House, Gloria Dei Church National Historic Site, the Walt Whitman House, and Fort Mifflin.
