Tukwila is a city that is located in King County, Washington. Tukwila is a suburb of Seattle and it covers an area of about 9.1 square miles. It borders Seattle to the North, SeaTac to the South, Renton to the East as well as Burien to the West.

First settled in 1853, Tukwila was a small agricultural town and was an important trading point back then. It was incorporated in 1908 and experienced growth with the electric rail that passed by the town and made it easy for people to travel.

Presently, several big companies have offices there. These companies include Microsoft and Boeing. The city is also known as the birthplace of Nintendo of America.
