The historic city of Stoughton, which is known as being "the birthplace of the coffee break," is conveniently located just 14 miles southeast of all the big-city amenities of Madison, but it still has plenty of its own resources to help you with the wedding planning process.

The Stoughton Opera House, one of the city's most popular wedding venues, offers an elegant and dramatic ambiance for your wedding day, as it features spectacular architecture and plenty of luxurious seating arrangements for your wedding guests.

You could also host your wedding at Stoughton Country Club, which has waterfront ceremony locations at Lake Kegonsa, and elegant banquet facilities that can accommodate up to 275 guests.

Visitors to Stoughton often participate in the Historic Main Street walking tours, which feature historic buildings that are on the National Register of Historic Places, or see concerts at the Stoughton Opera House.

The city also has several parks for you to enjoy, including Racetrack Park, Veteran's Memorial Park, and John Nygaard Virgin Lake Park, just to name a few.
