We found resources in the suburban, family-oriented community of Franklin to help make the wedding planning process go smoothly. The city is only 12 miles southwest of Milwaukee, so you and your guests will have easy access to all major attractions. 

The city of Franklin offers several affordable wedding venues, including The Polish Center of Wisconsin, which features lodge-like event spaces and offers catering services from Jack Norman Catering.

Even if you choose another wedding venue, make sure you check out the center's annual events held by the Polish Heritage Alliance. 

For tasty wedding cakes, make sure you check out Ambrosia Cakes, which offers a large selection of flavors and styles. If you prefer cupcakes, Ambrosia Cakes can create a cupcake tier instead a traditional wedding cake for your big day.

Finally, The Wild Pansy can put the finishing touches on the decorations for your big day with elegant reception centerpieces, wedding arches, and floral chair decorations.

Franklin has approximately 173 acres of land, 15 recreational facilities, and seven miles of bike trails that you and your wedding guests can enjoy.

You can rent either Lions Pavilion or Vernon E. Barg Pavilion if you are planning a casual outdoor rehearsal dinner or bridal shower. If you want a larger outdoor affair, you could rent either Market Square or Ken Windl Park through the City Clerk's Office at Franklin City Hall.
