Santa Clarita is located in Santa Clarita Valley and part of Los Angeles County.  It was once rated as number 18 on Money Magazine's top 100 places to live and is one of the top 10 safest cities in the state of California.  

Santa Clarita boasts being the first place gold was discovered in California. It is also often used as a location for the television and film industry. Vasquez Rocks, a park consisting of 745 acres of natural rock formations, has been used in Star Trek and multiple Nike commercials.  The backdrop of the rock formations can also make for some unique wedding photos.

Even though much of Santa Clarita is covered in brush due to its close proximity to the Mojave Desert, you can have your wedding at a lush garden venue such as Gardens of Paradise or Kelly's Wedding Garden. You and your guests will not be disappointed if you serve local wines from Agua Dulce Winery.

The heat can be intense in the summer, with temperatures breaking 100 degrees Fahrenheit, so plan your wardrobe accordingly.
