Orange County is a county in the state of California with the county seat being Santa Ana.  It has a population of just over 3 million residents which makes it the third most populous county in California, right behind Los Angeles County and San Diego County.  Orange County has the sixth largest population for a county in the United States.

Couples applying for the license online will have priority when they arrive at the Clerk-Recorder's office.  Marriage licenses are issued on the spot and are valid for 90 days. There are no residency or citizenship requirements.  Payment for the license can be made by cash, personal check, cashier's check, money order or credit card.
