There are tons of things to do and see in the District of Columbia.  You will definitely want to be sure and carve out a little time to visit some of the local sites such as taking a stroll on the National Mall, visiting the three houses of Government or just taking a walk through historic Georgetown which, by the way, is a great shopping venue.
