Hillsborough County is also home of the Gasparilla Pirate Invasion and Guavaween celebration.  These are both huge events that take place in Tampa and draw many visitors from around the country.  If you are considering an alternative type wedding, you might want to consider scheduling your nuptials to coincide with one of these festive events.   

Hillsborough County is also home to Jon's Bridal which is Florida's largest bridal store.  They have hundreds of designer wedding gowns in stock for as much as half off the original retail price.  It is definitely worth a visit to the store.  You may just find the dress of your dreams for pennies on the dollar.
