Even though Bronx County is the third most densely populated area in the United States, there are plenty of open spaces for you and your wedding guests to enjoy, whether you are visiting Pelham Bay Park, Van Cortlandt Park, or the Bronx Zoo, which is also one of the unique wedding venues that Bronx County has to offer. 

You can also explore Jerome Park Reservoir, Ferry Point Park, and Woodlawn Cemetery, which opened in 1863 and is one of the largest cemeteries in New York City.

Bronx County is mostly located on the mainland, but is bordered by the Hudson River, the Harlem River, the East River, and Long Island Sound.

You do not need to venture far to obtain your marriage license in Bronx County, as the Bronx City Clerk's Office is located in the Supreme Court Building that is accessible through the A, B, and D lines or the Bx1, Bx6, or Bx13 buses.

If you want to explore other parts of the New York City area, Bronx County is connected to Manhattan and Queens through numerous bridges and tunnels, including Robert F. Kennedy Bridge and the Throgs Neck Bridge.
