Marion County

Marion County, Oregon, which stretches from the Willamette River to the Cascade Mountains, is a scenic region located south of the Portland metropolitan area, and we found plenty of resources there to help you with the wedding planning process.

Major cities and communities in Marion County include Salem, which is the county seat, Aumsville, Aurora, Woodburn, Silverton, Gervais, Scotts Mills, Detroit, Sublimity, Shaw, Marion, Clear Lake, and Four Corners.

As the largest producer of agriculture out of Oregon's 36 counties, Marion County has a unique blend of thriving city and peaceful suburban and rural areas.

If you want to take a day trip, Marion County is under two hours away from the Pacific Coast, but keep in mind that it has plenty of its own natural beauty.
