Bucks County, which is part of the Delaware Valley Area, is the fourth most populous county in Pennsylvania, and we did some research to help you with the wedding planning process. 

If you are an American history lover, the townships in Bucks County are great for quaint destination weddings. Major boroughs and townships in Bucks County include the county seat of Doylestown, Newtown, New Hope, Bristol, Sellersville, Ivyland, Langhome Manor, Quakertown, Morrisville, and Dublin. 

Bucks County is served by Doylestown Airport, Quakertown Airport, and Van Sant Airport and Park, which are all public airports, and has a well-developed public transportation system, so you and your wedding guests will be able to easily navigate the area.

Some popular shopping venues in Bucks County include Buckingham Green, Liberty Village Premium Outlets, Oxford Valley Mall, the gift shops and specialty stores in Perkasie Old Town Association, and the Bristol Borough Business Association, which is located along the scenic Delaware River. 

Some other great wedding resources in Bucks County include Artisserie Bakery, an award-winning chocolatier, Golden Pheasant Inn, which features romantic dining overlooking the canal, Sand Castle Winery, one of Bucks County's most enchanting wedding venues, and Washington Crossing Inn.

Bucks County has some beautiful locations to shoot outdoor engagement and wedding photographs, as it features several parks and nature centers, and has many historic covered bridges, including Cabin Run Covered Bridge, Erwinna Covered Bridge, and Frankenfield Covered Bridge, just to name a few. 

Major parks in Bucks County include Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, Churchville Nature Center, and Washington Crossing Historic Park.

There are also numerous museums in Bucks County that are worth a visit if you have time, including Fonthill Museum, James A. Michener Art Museum, King Library, Mercer Museum, and Bryn Athyn Historic District.

Many of the museums also have beautifully manicured grounds that are available for outdoor wedding ceremonies, receptions, and photographs.
