Chester County, which is part of the Delaware Valley region and the highest income county in Pennsylvania, has some great resources to help you with the wedding planning process.
Major cities, boroughs, and townships in Chester County include the county seat of West Chester, Coatesville, Avondale, Honey Brook, Downingtown, West Grove, West Vincent Township, Elk Township, and South Conventry Township.
Chester County has over 4,600 acres of parkland, featuring boating and fishing areas, hiking trails, campsites, and pavilions that you can rent for special occasions in Hibernia County Park, Nottingham County Park, and Warwick County Park.
Many of the county's parks offer beautiful areas for engagement and wedding photographs. Some major parks in Chester County include Wolf's Hollow County Parks, Springton Manor Farm, Black Rock Sanctuary, Struble Trail, Chester Valley Trail, Schuylkill River Trail, and part of Valley Forge National Historic Park.

To start, you can visit Chester County Art Association, the Abraham Fetters-White School Preservation Society, Historic Waynesborough, Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site, American Helicopter Museum & Education Center, and Paoli Battlefield Historic Park.
You can also attend one of the county's annual events, such as Devon Horse Show and Country Fair, West Chester Film Festival, and Phoenixville Blues Festival, or see a concert by the Brandywine Singers.
