Delaware County is also home to some nationally acclaimed gardens and beautiful parks, including Rose Tree Park in Media, Tyler Arboretum, Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore, Ridley Creek State Park, Brandywine Valley Scenic Byway Commission, and Chanticleer, which has been called one of the "most romantic gardens in America."

Many of Delaware County's parks and gardens are popular locations for engagement and wedding photographs, as well as prime wedding venues.

Keep in mind that Delaware County has very cold winters with an average low in January of 25.4 degrees Fahrenheit, so the gardens are at their most beautiful starting in the warmer spring months.

Delaware County also has some charming bed and breakfasts, country clubs, and hotels that are great wedding venues for the colder months, including Concordville Hotel, Dignazios Towne House, Drexelbrook, and Springhaven Club.

The county has numerous places of interest, so make sure you save some time to enjoy the area.

To start, you can visit Brandywine River Museum, the Christian C. Sanderson Museum, Turning Point Gallery in Media, Pennsylvania Veterans Museum, the 1696 Thomas Massey House, and the 1715 Old St. David's Church.
