Home to the 2002 Winter Olympics, Salt Lake County, Utah is an excellent choice for winter destination weddings.   The county is known for it's mountains and ski resorts and the snow in the area is often called "The Greatest Snow on Earth" because of its soft and powdery texture. This is one of the main reasons Salt Lake City won the bid for the 2002 Winter Olympics.  

If you are looking for a venue in Salt Lake City, Arbor Manor Reception Center and Garden is an all inclusive venue.  They offer on site catering if you like or if you would rather have your reception catered by an outside vendor, that can be arranged as well with a refundable cleaning deposit.  They also offer both indoor and outdoor areas for your ceremony and all wedding packages include a professional rehearsal as well.  They also have an on-site coordinator.  

Located in South Jordan, Noah's Reception Center offers several rooms to choose from as well as full kitchens for the catering staff.  Even though the prices may seem high, they include set up and clean up along with tables, chairs, linens and other services that are usually billed separately by caterers or other vendors.  There is also a wedding coordinator on staff to help you with all the details of your wedding and reception.  

A marriage license can be obtained at the Salt Lake County Clerks office and can be used anywhere in the state.  However, the license is only valid for 30 days.
