Snohomish County

Snohomish County is the perfect area for destination weddings in the Pacific Northwest. The county begins just 12 miles north of Seattle and is situated between the beautiful Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains.

Major cities in Snohomish County include its county seat, Everett, Arlington, Bothell, Granite Falls, Lake Stevens, Lynnwood, Monroe, Mountain Terrace, and Edmonds.

Snohomish County is home to Mount Baker-Snoquaimie National Forest and numerous county parks, including Flowing Lake Park, which is a popular location for swimming, boating, fishing, and camping, Kayak Point Park, which features a 428-acre saltwater beach on the shores of Port Susan, Lake Roesiger Park, and Meadowdale Beach Park, just to name a few.

Many of the county's parks and beaches are available for weddings and are popular locations for engagement and wedding photographs.

Snohomish County has a wide variety of wedding venues available, from historic sites and Victorian manors, to yacht clubs and outdoor gardens, to private bed and breakfasts and waterfront inns. 

Popular wedding venues include Winding Path Gardens in Arlington, Flowing Falls in Bothell, Camano Island Inn, Bayside Bed and Breakfast in Everett, and Wallace Falls Lodge in Gold Bar.

Snohomish County also has several suburban and urban areas with some great shopping venues, so you will have no problem finding everything on your wedding checklist.

Popular shopping areas in Snohomish County include the shops in Country Village in Bothell, Everett Mall, Alderwood in Lynnwood, and Seattle Premium Outlets in Tulalip. 

In addition to its scenic attractions, Snohomish County has numerous wineries and breweries for you to visit, as the state of Washington is only second to California in the production of wine grapes, and it produces over 350 types of beers.

You can also tour the Blackman House Museum, Alderwood Manor Heritage Cottage, the Mukilteo Lighthouse, D.O. Pearson House Museum, the Stillaguamish Valley Pioneer Museum, and the Sultan Historical Museum.
