When it comes to weddings, some of the most searched for items are women's dresses.  Whether they are wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, mother-of-the-bride dresses or dresses for the wedding guests, women's dresses are at the top of the shopping list.

Women's dresses for the wedding guests will be the most varied of all.  Unless you are having a black tie or very formal affair, you will see your guests wearing women's dresses of all styles, colors, lengths and fabrics.  Most of your female wedding guests will be able to find their dresses at local department stores.  If you are having a very formal wedding, they may want to shop in a local bridal or specialty boutique. If your wedding will be in the evening, your guests should traditionally wear darker colors.  However, a casual daytime wedding can easily accommodate short, floral sundresses.  

If you are having a late day wedding, you might find your guest in many different types of women's dresses.  Some will be dressed a bit more formally in long gowns, some will be dressed in cocktail dresses and still others may be dressed in something you might wear to church.  If you have a particular look you are going for in your wedding, it is best to let your guests know your preference in attire by including the information on your wedding invitations.
