Kansas City City

Kansas City, Missouri, which is located opposite of Kansas City, Kansas, is the largest city in the state and has plenty of resources to help you with the wedding planning process.

Kansas City's downtown area was named by Forbes in 2012 as one of America's "Best Downtowns" due to its numerous fountains, shopping areas, award-winning restaurants, and arts culture.

The city has numerous historical but elegant wedding venues for you to choose from, including Loose Mansion, which features hand-carved mahogany woodwork, multiple fireplaces, and world-class in-house catering.

You could also have your wedding at The Loretto, which features a recently restored chapel, or have a sophisticated affair at Club 1000, which is located in the National Historic Garment District.

Kansas City is well-known for its jazz scene, so make sure you take some time to visit the American Jazz Museum. You can also visit Kansas City Zoo, and tour the American Royal Museum or the Arabia Steamboat Museum.

The city is also home to some beautiful gardens and manicured landscapes, including Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden, Lakeside Nature Center, and Belvoir Winery and Event Center, just to name a few. Keep in mind that many of the gardens are also popular locations for wedding ceremonies and photographs.
