Fuquay-Varina is a peaceful community located just 30 minutes from Raleigh. While the town was once primarily agricultural, today it has a lively historic downtown area and some great resources to help you through the wedding planning process. 

Fuquay-Varina has some absolutely beautiful wedding venues, including Chateau Bellevie Bed and Breakfast, which is situated on three acres of manicured grounds and has views overlooking Laurel Lake.

You can have an intimate wedding inside the "Fleur de Lis" Great Room, which features a turn of the century fireplace mantle, or you can exchange vows and take wedding photographs in its year-round gardens, followed by cocktails on the patio.

Highgrove Estate is another elegant venue that overlooks Laurel Lake, and it features a garden ballroom with fabric-draped ceilings, palladium windows, and open-air patios. 

Either Ambrosia Cake Creations or Cupcake Bite can create elegant cupcake tier centerpieces and wedding cakes that will help tie the entire theme of your wedding together. 

Fuquay-Varina has 16 parks spread over 200 acres for you to enjoy during your free time, including Falcon Park, Fleming Loop Recreation Park, and Honeycutt Road Park.

You can also tour the Fuquay-Varina History Museum or attend one of the town's annual events, such as Movies in the Park.
