The borough of Middlesex, which is located in the northwest corner of Middlesex County, has some great resources to help you with the wedding planning process.

If you love traditional Italian cuisine, Middlesex has some great restaurants that can provide off-site wedding reception catering and which also have banquet facilities to host bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and smaller receptions. 

Vincenzo's Ristorante and Carpaccio Ristorante both offer excellent wine and drink menus and special prices on group and bridal shower menus, while Elegant Cakes by Suzanne can create custom treats and wedding cakes for your big day.

For beautiful wedding flowers, check out Hoski Florist & Consignment Shop, which can create custom bridal bouquets, wedding arches, and other floral arrangements. The florist offers free consultations, but make sure you schedule one at least three months before your wedding day.

Middlesex is a family-oriented community, and as such, it hosts several special events throughout the year, including the Halloween Parade, Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, Movie in the Park at Mt. View Park, and the Fall Festival the second weekend in October.

If you want to venture outside of the borough, New Jersey Transit provides service both to Midtown Manhattan and Newark via the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
