Jenks, which is situated on the west bank of the Oklahoma River, has a friendly small-town atmosphere as well as all the conveniences of a big city, as Tulsa is just nine miles south.

However, Jenks, which is known as "The Antique Capital of Oklahoma," has plenty of resources of its own to help you with the wedding planning process.

Jenks has several excellent wedding venues, including Oklahoma Aquarium, which often hosts ceremonies in the Coral Reef and Siegfried Shark Adventure areas. As you can imagine, the aquarium also offers plenty of beautiful locations for one-of-a-kind wedding photographs.

For rustic weddings, consider Five Oaks Lodge, a private 185-acre property featuring a deck overlooking a lake, which is a popular ceremony location during the warmer summer months, and a large rock fireplace for the winters.

You could also have a quaint garden wedding at The Blue Cottage Events Center, which is best for intimate wedding receptions, as it can accommodate anywhere from 70 to 100 guests.

Jenks has several parks you can relax in during your free time, including Jenks Aquarium Trail, Jenks Arboretum, and Veterans Park. You can also go shopping in its quaint, historic downtown area or enjoy the restaurants, live concerts, and events at The RiverWalk Crossing Plaza.
