The city of Homewood is conveniently located just three miles south of Birmingham, so you are close to all the comforts of a larger city; however, we found some great resources in Homewood to help you with the wedding planning process.

Make sure you check out one of Homewood's most popular wedding venues, Rosewood Hall, which features a contemporary design, with an over-sized dance floor, room for up to 600 guests, and free parking.

Homewood has several full-service bridal salons, such as Carriage House Weddings and Bridal Bliss. Both bridal salons offer superior service and can help you sort through bridal gowns until you find the perfect one.

Finally, make sure you check out Savages, which has a large variety of wedding cakes for you to choose from, including stacked, separated, and whimsical styles. The bakery can also make all sorts of special orders, from coconut macaroons, to bonbons, custom cookies, and edible wedding favors.

Homewood has several beautiful parks for you to enjoy during your free time, including Homewood Central Park, Overton Park, and Woodland Park. You can also go swimming at Homewood Central Pool or attend one of the community's annual events, such as Fall Festival or We Love Homewood Day.
