Round Lake Village is conveniently located about 50 miles from Chicago and situated along Metra's Milwaukee District North Line, so it has easy access to O'Hare International Airport and major area attractions.

However, Round Lake has some great resources of its own to help you with the wedding planning process, including some world-class facilities that are owned and operated by the village.

Robert W. Rolek Community Center is one of Round Lake's most affordable wedding venues, and it has five separate rooms for rent, so whether you are having a small, intimate affair or a larger celebration, the facility has the space you need.

Rancho Nuevo, which specializes in authentic Mexican cuisine, is the perfect place to host bridal showers and rehearsal dinners or to use as a caterer for your wedding reception.

Round Lake is home to Prairie Grass Nature Museum, which is a great way to spend an afternoon if you need a break from planning your wedding. You can also relax in one of the village's parks, such as Bright Meadows Park or Fairfield Park, and go swimming at the Aquatic Center.

Round Lake is also just minutes from Round Lake Beach, where you can go boating and swimming at Lakefront Park during the warmer summer months.
