If you are a history lover, you might want to consider the Victorian-style Shiloh House, which is perfect for small, intimate ceremonies, as a wedding venue. Even if you don't choose Shiloh House as your venue, it is worth your time to tour the museum.

Also, make sure you check out one of Zion's most popular wedding venues, the Illinois Beach Resort & Conference Center, which was named a "Top 10 Best Outdoor Wedding Site" by the Knot Chicago Magazine 2009, as it features beautiful beach ceremony sites in front of Lake Michigan.

Zion has 752 acres of parkland for you to enjoy during your free time. You can also go golfing at Shepherd's Crook Golf Course (18 holes) or Shiloh Park Golf Course (9 holes). Zion also hosts several annual events, including Jubilee Days Festival and Concerts in the Park, which takes place in the warmer summer months.
