The village of Antioch, which is located 15 miles northwest of Waukegan and 40 miles southwest of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has some great resources to help you with the wedding planning process.

Make sure you check out Antioch Golf Club's Banquet Pavilion, one of the village's most elegant wedding venues. The Banquet Pavilion features scenic views of the golf course, a dance floor, and full bar service.

Antioch is home to some excellent bakeries and dessert caterers. Sweet Discoveries specializes in wedding cakes and custom cookies, while Something Sweet can provide your out-of-town family members and wedding party with homemade chocolate truffle gift baskets.

The village is home to Redwing Slough Forest Preserve, which provides ample outdoor recreation opportunities and some beautiful natural areas for engagement and wedding photographs. Other points of interest in Antioch include Hiram Buttrick Sawmill, Pickard China Museum, and Lakes Region Historical Society.

If you want to travel outside of Antioch, the village is in close proximity to regional attractions such as Deerfield Historic Village, Cuneo Museum & Gardens, Lake County Discovery Museum, Rancine Art Museum, and Big Foot Beach State Park.
