Boynton Beach is a city that is located in Palm Beach County, Florida.  Boynton  Beach covers an area of 16.25 square miles and, despite its name, it has no beachfront.

People first settled in Boynton Beach in 1894. Growth made the city to be incorporated in 1920 and the city was then known for planting tomatoes, citrus fruits, mangoes and pineapples.

Notable people in the city, past and present include retired NBA player Otis Thorpe and former MLB player Ryan Klesko among others.
