The city of Maumee is conveniently located just eight miles southwest of Toledo and has easy access to Toledo Express Airport, but it also has plenty of its own resources to help you plan the wedding of your dreams.

Maumee has some of the Toledo metropolitan area's premier wedding venues, making it a great place for weddings. Make sure you check out Brandywine Country Club, a favorite in The Knot Best of Weddings, as it features beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony locations.

Wolcott House Museum Complex, one of Maumee's historic attractions, is another popular place to get married, since the charming Monclova Country Church is located on its grounds.

You might also want to consider The Pinnacle, which is known for its award-winning cuisine, or one of Maumee's numerous churches, like Maumee United Methodist, St. Joseph Church Maumee, or St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Maumee has plenty of things for you to do during your free time, so make sure you take a break from the wedding planning process to have some fun.

To start, you can visit historical landmarks, like Turkey Foot Rock, Fallen Timbers Battleground, or the House of Four Pillars, see a show at the Maumee Indoor Theater, or relax in one of the city's 12 parks, like Towpath Park, which features scenic walking trails along the Maumee River.
