The city of Forest Park is conveniently located just eight miles south of Hamilton and nine miles north of Cincinnati, so you have easy access to plenty of big-city amenities.

However, as the third largest city in Hamilton County, Forest Park has plenty of its own resources to help you with the wedding planning process, including some affordable city-owned wedding venues.

Make sure you check out Forest Park Activity Center, which features indoor facilities that can accommodate up to 175 guests and a white gazebo where you can exchange wedding vows and take photographs.

You could also rent the cozy Forest Park Senior Center, a city landmark that can be reserved up to six months in advance through the Forest Park Recreation Department.

Finally, the local Marsh grocery store's floral department can provide your wedding with fresh bridal bouquets, ceremony arrangements and reception centerpieces, while its bakery department can make beautiful but affordable wedding cakes.

Forest Park has several parks for you to enjoy during your free time, including Bruce Ferguson Park, Central Park, Kemper Meadow Park, and Kanter Park.

You could also go shopping at Civic Center Plaza Shopping Center, Promenade Shopping Center, Cobblewood Plaza Shopping Center, or Forest Park Square Shopping Center.
