While the borough of West Chester is just 23 miles west of Philadelphia, the historic community has plenty of its own resources to help you with the wedding planning process.

West Chester has several gorgeous wedding venues for you to consider, including Greystone Hall, an English-style country estate with expansive grounds. The venue is also a recent winner in the WeddingWire Bride's Choice Awards.

Faunbrook Bed and Breakfast, another popular venue, is conveniently located just one mile from downtown West Chester. As it features two acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, there are plenty of scenic locations where you can take wedding photographs.

For larger affairs, check out Milestone Events, which features an entry-way with a stone fireplace and antique furniture, a large Great Room with golden chandeliers and vaulted ceilings, and over 5,000 square feet of flexible event space.

West Chester is home to several parks and museums that you can enjoy during your free time, including Brandywine Picnic Park, Everhart Park, the American Helicopter Museum, and the William Brinton 1704 House.

You can also see the exhibits at the Chester County Historical Society, or attend one of the community's annual events such as the May Day Festival of the Arts.
