Leon Valley, which is part of the San Antonio metropolitan area, is completely surrounded by San Antonio and just 10 miles from all major attractions, but it still has some great resources of its own if you want your wedding in a smaller city.

Leon Valley Community Center, which is one of the city's affordable wedding venues, can hold up to 300 guests and features a full kitchen, over 4,000 square feet of space, and a covered patio.

Another possible wedding venue in Leon Valley, the Leon Valley Conference Center, is just down the road and is perfect for smaller weddings, as it can hold 150 guests. While the Conference Center does not have a full kitchen, it has a foyer that is a charming reception and hors d'oeuvres area.

Leon Valley is home to Raymond Rimkus Park, which spans 22 acres and has picnic pavilions and athletic fields available to rent for special occasions. If you want to visit the attractions in San Antonio, you can easily take Bandera Road or Loop 410 into the city.
