Auburndale is located just 10 miles east of Lakeland and 41 miles east of Tampa, with easy access to the surrounding attractions, hotels, and Tampa International Airport.

However, Auburndale has some excellent resources of its own to help you with the wedding planning process, including major retail stores, wedding photographers, and some charming wedding venues.

If you're planning a wedding weekend, make sure you check out Town Manor Bed and Breakfast, a recent winner in the Bride's Choice Awards. The bed and breakfast is situated on a hill overlooking Lake Juliana and features an outdoor wedding gazebo by the water, manicured lawns, and outdoor patios for cocktails.

The local Walmart is the place to go for affordable wedding supplies, such as cake cutters and cake toppers, wedding napkins and bubbles, and disposable toasting flutes. Walmart's bakery can also make custom wedding cakes, cupcake tiers, and cookie wedding favors for your big day.

Auburndale has several parks you can enjoy during your free time, including Lake Ariana Park, Downtown City Park, Lake Dixie Park, Bridgers Avenue Park, Auburndale/Teco Trail, and Lake Stella Gazebo & Park, just to name a few. You can also go shopping in Auburndale's charming downtown area or visit the nearby Lake Wales Museum.
