Berea City

Home to Baldwin Wallace University, Berea is an educated, family-oriented community. We found resources in the city to help make your wedding planning you smoothly.

Mid-spring and early autumn are the best times for outdoor weddings in Berea. You can have an affordable lakeside wedding ceremony in the Stanley J. Trupo Gazebo, followed by a casual reception in Berea Kiwanis Pavilion. The Pergola is another beautiful ceremony site, but keep in mind that it has no covered protection.

Berea is known for "Berea stone", which was used to build some of the most prestigious buildings in the nation. The city holds a festival named for the grindstone every Fourth of July. You can also take part in the various year-round festivals and events in the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.

Other activities for you and your wedding guests to enjoy include the Berea Arts Fest at Coe Lake, the hiking and biking trails in nearby Cleveland's Metroparks, or watching the Cleveland Browns practice.
