North Olmsted is a peaceful, family-oriented community that has resources to help you find the essentials on your wedding checklist. 

The city is home to the North Olmsted Recreation Complex, which offers plenty of activities for you and wedding guests to enjoy, including ice skating, swimming, and tennis. You can also explore the Nature Center at Rocky River Reservation, play golf at the Springvale Golf Club, or go shopping at the Westfield Shopping Mall, which has over 140 stores. 

If you are on a budget, stop into Affordable Bridals, which has a large selection of bridesmaids dresses, bridal gowns, and wedding accessories such as unity candles, ring pillows, and veils.

Make sure you take a look at the Springvale Ballroom for a possible wedding venue. The recently renovated ballroom offers full-service catering and has plenty of free parking. Opened in 1925 by the Biddulph family, the Springvale Ballroom received a Historical Marker from Ohio, and is the oldest operating ballroom in the northeastern part of the state. 

If you are planning a winter wedding in North Olmsted, keep in mind that the average temperature in January is 19.4 degrees Fahrenheit. There is a lot of precipitation in the spring, so it's a good idea to have a back-up plan for outdoor activities.
