New Franklin, Ohio, which is one of the state's newest municipalities, is a beautiful community for weddings, conveniently located just 20 minutes from Akron, Canton, and two airports—Akron Canton Airport and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

When looking at wedding venues in New Franklin, make sure you consider Franklin Park Civic Center, which is also known as "The Tudor House." 

It features beautifully maintained grounds and gardens, views of Turkeyfoot Lake, a large Tudor-arch fireplace with wood paneling, and a carved wood staircase—which is just one of its many amazing backdrops for wedding photographs.

If you want a more traditional venue for your wedding, New Franklin is home to several churches, including St. John's Lutheran Church, Manchester United Methodist, and Grace Bible Church.

Since New Franklin is still a growing community, there are a number of privately owned shops where you can find wedding and party supplies, including Grammie M's Collectibles. For wedding gowns, try Doves of Love.

New Franklin has plenty of parks for you to enjoy during your free time, including Lakeside Park, Maple Grove Park, Miracle Park Nature Trail, Rawlins Park, and Portage Lakes State Park, which offers opportunities for everything from swimming, hunting and camping, to skating, snowmobiling and ice fishing.
