Babylon is a village in Suffolk County, New York.  It is commonly called Babylon Village to set it apart from Babylon the city.  The official name is The Incorporated Village of Babylon, however it is actually a part of the town of Babylon. While the town of Babylon has well over 200,000 residents, the village of Babylon has only approximately 12,000 residents.  

There is Venetian Yacht Club which is one of the preferred wedding venues in the town. It has a good ambience because of its waterfront location and you can check it out if you have not yet identified a venue.

Village Bridal Boutique in Babylon will outfit the bride and her entire wedding party including the mother of the bride and right down to the flower girl.  There are hundreds of wedding dresses and evening gowns for the bride and her party to choose from.  

For couples who need wedding jewelry, there is The Custom Jewelry Shop where they can shop for items such as wedding rings, necklaces, bracelets and other items necessary to accessorize the bride.  Caterers, photographers and florists can also be found in the village of Babylon as the village of Babylon has a very substantial business and shopping district.  

The village of Babylon is only 2.8 square miles in size with 2.4 square miles being land.
