Whitehall is considered one of the "most livable communities" in the Pittsburgh area. It is a peaceful community with plenty of activities for you and your wedding guests to enjoy. 

The South Hills Country Club, which is located only 5 miles from Pittsburgh, is an excellent wedding venue. There are several elegant locations you can utilize, including the Terrace Patio, which is perfect for after ceremony cocktails, and the Main Dining Room, which is best for formal dining. In your free time, you can go golfing or relax at the pool. Remember that temperatures in Whitehall do not reach a comfortable swimming temperature until the summer.

Whitehall has six parks spread throughout the borough with amenities such as basketball and tennis courts, picnic shelters, and soccer fields. There is also a Municipal Complex with a swimming pool. If you want to use the recreation sites for your wedding festivities, you can obtain a permit from the Borough of Whitehall to reserve your place.
