The city of Trotwood, Ohio, is conveniently just six miles from Dayton and all its major shopping centers and attractions, but it also has some of its own quality resources to help you with the wedding planning process.

If you want a traditional ceremony, Trotwood is home to a number of churches, including Northwest Church of Christ, Trotwood Baptist Church, Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church, and Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Church, just to name a few.

For your reception, try The Veranda, one of Trotwood's popular wedding venues. If you're having a casual affair, there are also a number of picnic shelters you can reserve for special occasions.

Finally, you'll want to have a lot of great food at your wedding. Taste, which specializes in Cajun and Creole cuisine, is an excellent wedding caterer and a prime spot for rehearsal dinners, as it often features live Jazz performances.

Trotwood has several parks for you to enjoy during your free time, including John Wolfe Park, Madison Park, North Broadway Park, and Twin Creek Park.

You could also go swimming at the Municipal Swimming Pool, attend one of Trotwood's annual events such as the Wolf Creek/Trotwood Smoke, Sizzle & Sounds BBQ Contest, or visit nearby popular attractions such as the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm, or America's Packard Museum.
