The borough of Pottstown is a charming community that is located just 15 miles southeast of Reading and 32 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

While it is relatively close to the attractions in Reading and all the big-city amenities of Philadelphia, Pottstown has some excellent resources of its own to help you with the wedding planning process.

Meredith Manor is one of Pottstown's most beautiful and enchanting wedding venues, as it features 10 acres of lawns, a pond, icicle lighted gazebos, a waterfall garden area for outdoor ceremonies, a barn for rustic indoor weddings, and a brick courtyard.

The Ballroom on High is a great wedding venue if you are on a tight budget, as the basic rental fee includes tables and chairs, plus setup and takedown.

Pottstown has several places of interest for you to visit during your free time, including the house of the community's founder, Pottsgrove Manor, and Welkinweir, which is a 197-acre arboretum and conservation area.
