If you love being outdoors, Parkland is a good city for your wedding. Located in Broward County, the upscale family-oriented community has zoning laws in place to protect its "parklike" character. 

In between your wedding planning, you and your wedding party can enjoy the Doris Davis Forman Wildlife Preserve, Covered Bridge Park, Pine Trails Park, or the trails in 6 Acre Wood Park.

Parkland is home to the Parkland Golf & Country Club, which is an excellent wedding venue. You can exchange vows outside, take wedding photographs by the pond, and relax by letting the club fully coordinate your big day.

Parkland has approximately 248 sunny days per year, but in case of rain, the inside of the clubhouse is just as gorgeous as its outside grounds. 

Due to Parkland's increased development, you may come in contact with wildlife such as coyotes, owls, raccoons, opossums, or alligators, especially if you have food present.
