When searching for wedding venues, you may want to speak with one of the pastors at Downriver Christian Community Church if you have chosen to have a religious wedding.  However, if you are looking for a venue for a civil ceremony or just don't want a church wedding, Melvindale's Community Event Center is available for rental.  It can accommodate up to 180 people and has a state of the art kitchen, bar and serving station, large dance floor, fully furnished lobby and a large outdoor patio that would be perfect for cocktail hour.  

Whether you are planning a casual reception such as picnic style or maybe planning your rehearsal dinner or maybe for one of your wedding showers, Subway is available to provide sandwich trays, giant sandwiches, cookie trays or even individual boxed meals for your event. They can also provide you with side items and drinks if that is something you will be needing as well.
