Euless City is located in Tarrant County. It is named after Tennessee native Elisha Adam Euless, who moved to the area and bought 170 acres of land. He opened a community center and cotton gin on his property, which quickly became the center of the city.

Euless hosts the annual Arbor Daze festival, which is held the last weekend of April. The festival is one of the most decorated festivals in Texas, with over 47 awards.

Notable residents and natives include actresses Janine Turner and Sarah Shahi, and artist, author, and filmmaker Michael T. Arth.
